StandX wind-down deadlines: position closure and withdrawals
StandX, a perpetual futures and stablecoin platform, is winding down its operations, and users must close open positions by January 15, 2027, then withdraw their assets on-chain by January 31, 2027. The process involves DUSD and USDT.
What is happening
StandX has decided not to launch a platform token and is shutting down its perpetual futures and stablecoin business. As part of the wind-down, users face two deadlines: positions must be closed by January 15, 2027, and funds must be moved off the platform by January 31, 2027.
After closing positions, users need to transfer assets from their Perps wallet to their Cash wallet and then withdraw on-chain. Withdrawals will be paid in DUSD. Users who prefer USDT must submit a redemption request by the same January 31 deadline.
The wind-down is already under way. StandX ended DUSD yield, position yield, community maker yield and referral commissions on October 15, and it closed new vaults and deposits. The platform also set up a one-time DUSD airdrop, with a claim window running from November 1 to December 31, 2026 (UTC) and an eligibility checker opening in late October. Allocations reflect activity such as pre-deposits, Alpha, mainnet trading, market making and referrals, and are screened for Sybil and wash-trading behavior. Unclaimed tokens will be forfeited.
Why it matters
For users, these dates are hard cutoffs. Positions still open after January 15 and funds not withdrawn or redeemed by January 31 could be at risk of being left in a platform that is no longer operating, so timely action is the main concern. Holders who want USDT rather than DUSD need to file a redemption request before the deadline rather than rely on the default DUSD payout.
The wind-down also closes the chapter on a platform that, since its mainnet launch in November 2025, had served more than 237,000 users and reached a peak total value locked above $200 million. Traders using StandX for perpetual futures will need to move activity elsewhere, and DUSD holders should plan how and when to exit the stablecoin.
