Coinbase's partnership with Samsung is set to bring USDC to Samsung Wallet users in the United States during the last week of October 2026, between October 26 and October 31. USDC is expected to be the default dollar stablecoin in the wallet.
What is happening
Coinbase is expanding the distribution of USD Coin through Samsung Wallet, giving US users of the Samsung digital wallet access to the stablecoin. According to the source article, the service is expected to go live in the final week of October 2026.
On the infrastructure side, Coinbase will provide subcustody through Coinbase Prime, working alongside the licensed infrastructure partner Bastion. USDC will serve as the default dollar stablecoin within the wallet.
