Dutch Blockchain Week 2027
Dutch Blockchain Week 2027, the ninth edition of the event, takes place in Amsterdam from May 17 to May 23, 2027. It is a week-long programme for the digital assets, finance, payments and blockchain industries, and no specific coins are tied to it.
What is happening
The centrepiece of the week is the Dutch Blockchain Week Main Summit, held at the Johan Cruijff ArenA on May 19 and 20, 2027. The venue also hosted the 2026 edition. The summit will have two official stages: the Main Stage for keynotes, panels and interviews with executives, entrepreneurs and policymakers, and the Amsterdam Stage for company presentations on specific markets, technologies, regulation and real-world applications. Business development and networking are a stated priority across both days.
Beyond the summit, companies, communities and partners will organize their own events across Amsterdam throughout the week, from industry sessions and meetups to private dinners and community gatherings. The official calendar is expected to keep growing in the months before May, and organizers can submit events to join it.
Topics will include digital assets, stablecoins, payments, tokenization, institutional adoption, infrastructure, regulation, custody, artificial intelligence and emerging financial technology. The 2026 edition, held in June, drew thousands of professionals and more than 40 events across the city, with speakers from companies such as Visa, Kraken, Bitwise, Mastercard and Chainlink. Organizers describe the event as one of the top three European gatherings for blockchain and digital assets.
Super Early Bird tickets for the Main Summit are already on sale, limited to the first 150. Regular tickets are priced at 99 euros for two days (down from 299) and VIP at 549 euros (down from 749). Five Pro Ticket buyers from this phase will be selected at random for a free VIP upgrade.
Why it matters
Dutch Blockchain Week has grown from a Dutch community initiative launched in 2019 into an international business event. For market participants, gatherings of this kind are a place where exchanges, banks, payment providers, funds, market makers and regulators meet, and where announcements, partnerships and regulatory discussions can surface. The agenda emphasis on stablecoins, tokenization, custody and regulation reflects themes that shape the wider industry.
For holders and traders, the event is mainly a source of information and sentiment around institutional adoption and European regulatory thinking rather than a protocol-level event. Because the programme is not yet fully published, it is worth following official announcements for speaker lineups and side events closer to the date.
