Binance restricts eight products and services in Brazil
Binance is restricting eight financial products and services for users in Brazil, and the event is dated 1 November 2026. The restrictions affect Brazilian customers of the exchange, whose ecosystem token is BNB.
What is happening
Binance is limiting access to Binance Loans, Binance Pool, Cloud Mining, Margin Trading, Launchpool, Megadrop, HODLer Airdrops and Alpha 2.0 for customers in Brazil. Brazilian users will no longer be able to open new positions in these services, and existing loan products will be switched to repayment-only mode, so users can only settle outstanding debts. According to the sources, the product restrictions themselves take effect on 27 October, while 1 November is the date tied to the next compliance step.
The measures are part of a broader package for the Brazilian market. Binance will also halt trading for 22 cryptocurrencies for Brazil-based customers from 27 October, including XVG, USDE, USTC, DCR, DUSK, PIVX, ONE, RVN, ZIL, SCRT, GMT, STORJ and others. Remaining balances in these tokens can still be withdrawn or reinvested. The suspension applies only to Brazilian residents; customers in other regions are not affected.
Two further steps complete the timeline. From 29 October, Binance will begin migrating its Brazilian user base to a locally established entity within the Binance Group. From 1 November, Brazilian users making international crypto transfers must state the purpose of the transfer and the counterparty; without this information, withdrawals will not be processed, and incoming international transfers may be delayed until the recipient completes verification.
Why it matters
For Brazilian holders, the changes narrow what the platform offers: yield-style and leveraged products are closed to new activity, and the delisted tokens can no longer be traded on Binance after the cut-off. Users with open loans or positions in affected services should note that existing loans move to repayment-only, and balances in delisted assets remain withdrawable.
For traders and market observers, the package shows how a major exchange adjusts its service scope to local regulatory requirements, a pattern the sources say Binance has followed in several countries. The entity migration and the additional transfer information rules are worth following, as they may affect how quickly Brazilian users can move funds across borders. Users outside Brazil are not affected by these measures.
