AIBC World Rome - Litecoin Foundation Day 2

04 November 2026, Wednesday
Rome, Italy Location
LTC Litecoin Foundation

On November 4, 2026, the Litecoin Foundation will curate the full second-day program of talks at AIBC World in Rome, Italy. The event is centered on Litecoin (LTC) and features a panel and a fireside conversation with Litecoin creator Charlie Lee.

What is happening

Litecoin announced on October 20, 2026 that it will take part in AIBC World in Rome on November 4. According to the official Litecoin post, the Litecoin Foundation is curating the entire day 2 schedule of talks at the conference.

The program includes a panel with Charlie Lee, Alan Austin, David Schwartz and Jay Milla. In addition, there will be a separate fireside conversation with Charlie Lee. The announcement does not list exact session times, topics or the venue within Rome.

Litecoin was created by Charlie Lee, a former Google engineer, and launched in 2011 as a peer-to-peer alternative to Bitcoin. It uses the Scrypt hashing algorithm, produces blocks faster than Bitcoin and has a maximum supply of 84 million coins. The network has also served as a testing ground for technologies such as Segregated Witness (SegWit) and the Lightning Network.

Why it matters

Because the Litecoin Foundation is curating the whole day rather than a single session, the event gives the project a dedicated platform to present its ecosystem and priorities to an international conference audience. Appearances by the founder and other industry figures often attract attention from the community and the wider market.

For holders and traders, conferences of this kind are mainly a source of information: statements, roadmap comments or partnership news may emerge from the talks. Nothing in the announcement indicates a specific product release or protocol change, so it is best to follow the official Litecoin and Litecoin Foundation channels for details after the sessions take place.
