Sonic burns 32.69M unclaimed S airdrop tokens
Sonic Labs will burn around 32.69 million unclaimed S tokens from its Season 1 and Season 2 airdrops on October 15, 2026. That date is also the final deadline to claim, with no grace period afterwards.
What is happening
According to the project, roughly 32,690,000 S across both airdrop seasons have gone unclaimed. On October 15, 2026, those tokens are scheduled to be burned, removing them permanently from the supply. The project names no time of day, so the burn can be triggered at any moment once the date arrives, without further notice.
The claim window closes together with the burn. Anyone who has not claimed by then receives nothing and cannot catch up later. Early penalty deductions no longer apply: Season 1 carried a deduction until April 18, 2026, and Season 2 until May 24, 2026. Since then, and up to October 15, claims can be made without any deduction.

Why it matters
