Lisk deposit withdrawal deadline for Aero pools
Liquidity providers with deposits in Aero pools on Lisk must withdraw them by October 31, 2026. The deadline is part of the wind-down of support for previously supported chains following the launch of the unified AERO token.
What is happening
On October 22, emissions from Aerodrome and Velodrome ceased, and the merged AERO token went live in sync across seven chains: Base, Ethereum Mainnet, OP Mainnet, Arc, Ink, Arbitrum and Robinhood Chain. Lisk is not on that list. Old AERO converts to the new token at 1:1, and 1 VELO exchanges for 0.044 new AERO.
Alongside the expansion to new chains, Aero is scaling back support for some earlier ones. Pools on Celo, Fraxtal, Soneium and Unichain remain tradable but no longer receive AERO incentives. For Lisk, the rule is stricter: deposits must be withdrawn by October 31.
The same rollout replaces the former ve(3,3) model with a staking system based on sAERO and a new Predictive Allocation mechanism. The first allocation under it begins on October 23 at 0:00.
Why it matters
Anyone who still has liquidity deposited in Aero pools on Lisk has a fixed window to remove it. The sources do not describe what happens to funds left in those pools after the deadline, so holders should not assume any later grace period or automatic migration. Checking positions before October 31 and withdrawing in time is the safest way to avoid complications.
For traders and the wider AERO community, the deadline illustrates how the merged protocol is concentrating its focus on the seven launch chains. Revenue is currently concentrated on Base, while the project aims to broaden its share of EVM spot trading volume through the new chains. Chains outside that set, such as Lisk, are being phased out of active support.
