Bitcoin Amsterdam 2026

05–06 November 2026, Thu–Fri
Amsterdam, Netherlands Location
BTC BTC Inc.

Bitcoin Amsterdam 2026, the fifth annual edition of the conference organized by BTC Inc., takes place on November 5 and 6, 2026 at the Sugar Factory in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The event is centered on Bitcoin (BTC) and brings together institutions, regulators and the wider Bitcoin community.

What is happening

Bitcoin Amsterdam is described as Europe's most influential annual Bitcoin conference. The 2026 edition runs for two days of public programming at the Sugar Factory, and organizers say it is the place where Bitcoin's institutional, regulatory and grassroots worlds meet on the same stage.

The program opens one day earlier, on November 4, with the BFC Symposium. This is a closed-door Institutional Track aimed at people allocating capital and building corporate Bitcoin treasuries.

Confirmed speakers include Jack Mallers, founder and CEO of Strike, and David Bailey, CEO and chairman of Nakamoto Inc. From the developer side, the lineup features Sjors Provoost of Bitcoin Core and Lightning Network researcher René Pickhardt. Financial institutions are represented by speakers from Rabobank, Maerki Baumann and Van Lanschot Kempen, alongside Keith Grose of Coinbase, Khing Oei of Treasury and Willem Middelkoop of the Commodity Discovery Fund. Tickets, media accreditation and program updates are available on the official website.

Why it matters

The conference is a visible meeting point for banks and funds that are adding bitcoin to their balance sheets, policymakers working on the rules around it, and the developers and community members behind its adoption. The mix of Dutch and European banking names with Bitcoin-native builders makes it a useful indicator of how traditional finance is approaching the asset in Europe.

For holders and traders, events of this kind are mainly a source of information: announcements, product news, institutional treasury strategies and regulatory commentary often surface on stage or in the surrounding coverage. Statements made at the conference are not guarantees of any market outcome, and the program may still be updated before the event, so it is worth following the official channels for changes.
