What is happening
An amendment is a change to the rules by which the XRP Ledger checks transactions. The amendment is a bundle of corrections rather than a single patch. A server running a version that does not know the amendment becomes amendment-blocked, meaning it stops following consensus and no longer serves reliable data. Notably, the fixes cover Single Asset Vaults and the lending protocol, neither of which is active on mainnet; those features still lack an 80% majority. The activation therefore adds no new feature and does not set a start date for lending. It is a maintenance step, and nothing in it implies a price outcome.
