Metaplex is an NFT and token infrastructure protocol on Solana that handles metadata, collection management, and large-scale asset issuance. The MPLX token functions as a governance and utility token for the Metaplex DAO. Trading will have temporary restrictions: buy orders are limited for approximately 5 minutes after launch, and sell orders below 90% of the previous closing price are restricted for the same period. Order types other than limit orders will be restricted for about 2 hours. Deposits must use the Solana network only; transfers via other networks will not be credited.
