TruGolf Links and Polymath tokenized equipment leasing and fractional franchise program

Q1 2027 date TBC
Online Location
TruGolf / Polymath Project

⚠ The date is not confirmed yet and may change.

TruGolf Links and Polymath, now part of the same Nasdaq-listed company, are developing an equipment leasing program funded through tokenized securities, along with fractional franchise ownership for qualified franchisees. The launch is targeted for the first quarter of 2027; the exact date has not been announced and the timing is tentative. No specific coin is tied to the program.

What is happening

TruGolf Holdings (NASDAQ: TRUG) closed its acquisition of Polymath Research Inc. on October 8, 2026. Polymath is the Canadian company behind the ST-20 security token standard and Polymesh, a Layer-1 blockchain built for regulated assets. Polymath now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary, while TruGolf continues to run its golf simulator and software business, including the E6 platform.

The two businesses are already working together. TruGolf Links and Polymath are building an equipment leasing program funded through tokenized securities, plus fractional franchise ownership opportunities for qualified franchisees. Both are targeted for Q1 2027. TruGolf Links' Regional Developers in New Jersey, New York and Illinois represent commitments for more than 100 future locations.

Polymath says it had issued more than $132 million in tokenized assets for more than 65 active issuers as of December 31, 2025, and is supported by more than 50 ecosystem partners. Polymesh, which achieved SOC 2 Type 1 compliance in 2025, is secured by licensed financial institutions acting as node operators.

Why it matters

The program would be an early in-house use case for the combined company: tokenized securities applied to a real operating business, namely simulator equipment financing and franchise ownership. For observers of real-world asset tokenization, it shows how issuance infrastructure built for institutions may be used in a consumer-facing franchise model.

For holders and traders following TRUG or the Polymesh ecosystem, the launch is a milestone to monitor rather than a confirmed event. The Q1 2027 target is tentative, and details such as the structure of the tokenized offerings, eligibility rules and the issuing venue have not been published. Management has said its focus is bringing more issuers and assets onto Polymesh, so the program's progress may be read as one indicator of that execution.
