Old QUICK to New QUICK conversion: full 1:1000 ratio ends (ratio drops to 1:750)
⚠ The date is not confirmed yet and may change.
Around November 4, 2026, the full 1:1,000 conversion ratio for Old QUICK is expected to end on QuickSwap. After that date one Old QUICK would yield 750 New QUICK instead of 1,000. The date is tentative: it comes from press coverage and arithmetic, not from an official QuickSwap announcement.
What is happening
The QuickSwap DAO voted on Snapshot from July 28 to August 4, 2026, on the future of the Old QUICK to New QUICK conversion. About 95.9 percent of the voting weight backed ending the conversion through a six-month roadmap. The ratio stays at 1:1,000 for the first three months, then falls to 1:750 in the fourth month, 1:500 in the fifth and 1:250 in the sixth. After the sixth month the conversion contract no longer accepts old tokens.
The proposal counts in months and names no calendar dates. Crypto Briefing translated the roadmap into dates: November 4, 2026 for the end of the full ratio, December 5, 2026 for 1:500, January 5, 2027 for 1:250 and February 5, 2027 for the close of the contract. The same dates follow from adding three to six months to the August 4 vote. QuickSwap's own conversion page does not yet state a deadline.
The DAO says more than 91 percent of the original supply is already converted, and the old token has only limited utility. Around 84,105 Old QUICK remain unconverted: roughly 60,577 in user wallets, 12,263 in liquidity positions and 11,266 in the original Dragon's Lair staking contract. A further vote is planned to decide what happens to the New QUICK reserved for the conversion once the roadmap expires, with a burn, a treasury transfer or another proposal named as options.
Why it matters
Each step of the roadmap permanently reduces what an Old QUICK is worth through the contract. Converting in the fourth month yields a quarter fewer New QUICK than converting in the third for the same holding, and the proposal provides no grace period. Holders with tokens in liquidity positions or the old Dragon's Lair must withdraw them first, which takes extra transactions and a POL balance for Polygon gas.
Confusion between the two token versions is a practical risk. They are separate contracts, and the conversion currently works only on Polygon. Binance's delisting of QUICK concerns New QUICK, so it does not affect the Old QUICK deadline, and the reverse also holds. For the project, ending the conversion would remove the need to keep New QUICK permanently reserved, which clarifies the maximum supply. The outcome of the later vote on the reserved tokens remains open.
