What is Ethereum actually for? ETHis 2026 is built around that question β and the answer being assembled inside the world's largest science and technology museum.
Held at Deutsches Museum on Museum Island in Munich, ETHis gathers builders, institutions, and industry partners working at the intersection of digital systems and physical reality. Six themes frame the two days: real-world productive assets, ZK and privacy, DePIN and hardware, DeFi and stablecoins, AI and existential risk, and governance and DAOs. Not trends β domains where Ethereum is already becoming useful infrastructure.
The setting is deliberate. Inside a museum of engineering, computation, and energy, surrounded by the context of real-world systems, the conversations hit differently than at the usual crypto conference circuit. And when the talks end, they continue in a beer garden by the Isar β Munich summer, high-signal networking, no agenda.
ETHis is in-person and virtual, co-programmed with Festival der Zukunft, which connects the Ethereum builder community to a broader science, technology, and culture audience.
If you're building at the edge of bits and atoms, this is where your people are.
