AI Expo Europe 2026
AI Expo Europe 2026 is a two-day artificial intelligence expo held on November 1 and 2, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bucharest, Romania. It is a general AI event with no specific coins attached, though several speakers come from the crypto and blockchain space.
What is happening
The organizer announces more than 100 speakers, over 3,000 participants and over 59 international exhibitors. The program runs on a conference stage and a demo stage. Keynotes on November 1 come from Microsoft, Google, Oracle and LinkedIn. On November 2 they come from NVIDIA, Adobe, ING, Alibaba Cloud, IBM, KPMG and Palo Alto Networks. Round tables cover AI in defense and national security, child protection against deepfakes, the AI supply chain and the global race for AI, along with a session on the EU AI Act and questions of responsibility for deployed AI.
The "AI in Action" stage hosts 14 live demonstrations of one hour each, with use cases in finance, accounting, data analysis, law and competitive intelligence. As of early October, the agenda still listed the opening keynote on November 1 and one company presentation as "TBA", and the names of the round table speakers had not been published.
Tickets are offered in three tiers: Standard at €99, Premium at €199 and VIP at €399, all excluding VAT. The agenda and the pricing page disagree on whether lunch and the gala dinner are included in each tier, so this should be confirmed with the organizer before buying.
Why it matters
The published agenda has no dedicated crypto or blockchain session, so the event is not a crypto conference in the usual sense. Its link to the industry runs through people: lawyers from the VD Law Group firm specializing in fintech, blockchain and crypto, the co-founder of Netopia and of the Romanian crypto exchange BTKO.in, and the founder of a blockchain traceability platform. Their speaking slots are not yet confirmed in the online agenda.
For holders and traders, the event is mostly useful as a window into how regulation and corporate AI adoption are discussed in Europe. The AI Act session may be relevant to crypto platforms that use AI for customer support or fraud prevention. Romania also has the lowest rate of corporate AI use in the EU, at 5.2% of companies with 10 or more employees in 2025, according to Eurostat. No direct effect on any token is stated in the sources.
